Dr. Michael Haas, M.D.
Meet Dr. Michael Haas M.D.
Dr. Michael Haas is a board-certified, comprehensive ophthalmologist with over 20 years of experience in medical and surgical eye care. He specializes in laser-assisted cataract surgery and premium intraocular lenses. He also can treat and evaluate macular degeneration, dry eye, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, and other medical eye conditions. Patient care is Dr. Haas’ utmost priority, too often patients can feel like just a number, and at Haas Vision Center they should feel like extended family.
Dr. Haas was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. He completed his undergraduate studies at Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA. He then completed medical school at the University of Washington in Seattle, and then completed his ophthalmology residency at Indiana University in Indianapolis after a year internship in San Antonio, TX.
In his spare time Dr. Haas enjoys exercise and spending time in the outdoors of Colorado. He is an avid day hiker who can frequently be found on nearby trails with his family and dogs. He also enjoys reading and travel.
